Antique Stores Near Xanadu Island Bed & Breakfast and Resort

We believe that Otter Tail County has one of the finest collection of antique shops in the country. You will find the prices generally reasonable. In addition to all of the shops, there is at least one auction, often many, to attend on any given weekend.

A list of 21 shops and a map are available at the inn. One of our personal favorites is F&F Antiques which is owned by Ken and Leona Formo. They have an old three story barn located in a nice country setting with a good supply of things to interest the casual as well as the serious collector. Ken says that dealers from the big cities and the west coast come by to get merchandise from him for resale at twice the money other places.

It's daybreak, the sun is peeking through the clouds. I can smell breakfast coming from beyond the door.

With anticipation, I get up out of bed, Julie lies sleeping. I don my robe and slippers and move into the living room with the fireplace to meet the day.
